DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Delivery Information

At van Tonders, we take pride in our shipping methods and packaging to ensure that your items arrive safely and in a timely manner. 
 
When it comes to shipping, we prioritize transparency and reliability to build trust with our customers. We want you to feel confident and assured when making a purchase with us.

  • Free delivery within Robertson, Western Cape, 6705.
     

  • ​​​We offer delivery to the following Western Cape areas at an additional cost calculated at checkout. 
    Areas are McGregor, Ashton, Zolani, Montagu, Bonnievale and Worcester.

     

  • All other areas are to please use our self-pick-up option, or the contact us to arrange a 3rd party courier service option at check out.
     

  • Delivery time is 1 - 7 business days.
     

  • Self-pickup/collection is available from our store in Robertson.
    We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturdays 8am to 1pm and Closed on Sundays.

    We will notify you once the order is ready for collection.

Return & Exchange Information

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from van Tonders.

Our aim is to build trust and ensure that you can shop with confidence. We believe in providing exceptional customer service and are committed to addressing any concerns you may have regarding returns or exchanges.

Second Hand Items

Our second-hand products available on our website and in-store are second-hand and as-is.

We strive to accurately represent the quality of each item and provide images that highlight any damages. If you need more information about a specific item's condition, please reach out to us or visit the store before making a purchase.

If you not satisfied with your purchase, you may contact us to request a refund; however, please note that the delivery fee is non-refundable as it is a service charge. If product recollection is required for the refund process, an additional collection fee will apply.

We do not reserve stock without full payment, we do not offer any online lay buy or cash on delivery options. We aim to have all items in stock; however, if there is a discrepancy and you purchase an out-of-stock item, we will contact you within 48 hours with options for a replacement or a full refund.

Know what you buying

All second hand products on our online store and in-store are second-hand and sold as-is.

 

Please examine the pictures closely and read the descriptions, as we try to show any damages and inform you on any known issues/defects. If you need more information about a specific item's condition, don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Be sure to check the measurements to ensure the item fit your space. 

New Items

All new items we sell, come with the warranties and/or guaranties that are supplied by the manufacture of the product.

 

We will do everything we can to assist in the event of a claim, but please take note that we are the reseller and not the manufacturer with whom the warranties and/or guarantee lies. 

Returns

We have a 7 - day return policy on our new items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@vantonders.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address corner of Reitz Street and Victoria Street, Robertson, Western Cape, 6705, South Africa which is out physical shop address.

 

 If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping address, (the cost there off will be at your own expense) as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not South Africa, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

Damages and Issues

 

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right. Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges Refunds

 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
